PREFECTORIAL BODY 2012

​Usually students who would like to be prefects are first vetted and screened by the academic staff. The successful candidates are then allowed to directly campaign among st students. Elections are held after a couple of weeks of campaigns.

After elections, the prefects are done sworn in by the dean of students the following Monday after elections (during the general assembly for a one year term.)

There is an official handover ceremony usually organized at the discretion of the incoming prefectorial body.

STUDENTS COUNCIL

​The students council Executive is directly elected by student representatives called Councillors. The Councillors are elected by the students; at both class level and house level.

The students council Executive is made up of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Speaker





The Disciplinary council, commonly called the D.C, is a student body that  is responsible for handling minor discipline issues, arising
amongst the student.  Representatives on the D.C  (selected from the prefects body and the students council body) are appointed by the
chairman students council and the Head Prefect.  There is an equal represenatation on the D.C, between the prefects body and the
students council executive.   Chairmanship of the D.C  rotates among its members during the D.C sessions.
