HOUSE DATA TO BE UPLOADED SOON ON HOUSE PAGES

There are a total of 6 Houses at the "Hill". Each house takes a good share of students out of the 1000+ KCB boys.

The leadership (organizational) structure in each of the houses is made up of a Housemaster/mistrees, an Assistant Housemaster/mistress, a Head House (commonly called HH) who is deputized by a Deputy Head of House (Deputy HH) and assisted by 2 Assistant Heads of House.

The HH and the Deputy HH are always from A' Level and the 2-Assistant HH's are always from O' Level; each serving a one year term.

1. Aggrey House: Mystery still surrounds the history of how Aggrey house
came to be named "Aggrey". Back in the days, Aggrey house was the house
that every  student envied to be a member of while at Butiki. It was once
known as "the only house on the hill".

It always stood out amongst all the  other houses at almost all levels of school
activities; Academics, Cleanliness, Sports, House drama and music competitions,  among others. However, as  one of our local sayings states; " even the best dancer finally leaves the floor".

If you are in Uganda and have heard of the likes of local musicians Menton Kronno and Mega Dee, these were Aggrey House products!

The dancing days of Aggrey finally came to an end but with the House motto
of  "Never Give Up",  Aggrey house may reclaim its  lost glory.

2. Cohen House: It was named after one of the British colonial Governors in
Uganda, Sir Andrew B. Cohen.  Cohen House boys are known to be very clean (well, the main water reservoir is less than 5 meteres away) and
commonly thought  to be polite and humble. However, they are also known to
be very articulate  and aggresive debators! Yes, Basalirwa Asuman (Former
Guild President of Makerere University and current President of Justice
Forum party) is a product of Cohen House!

3. Henry Muloki House: This is the newest house of residence on the Hill
(construction was completed in 1995). It was named after the former Busoga
local King  (who holds the title of Kyabazinga among the Basoga people), His
Highness  Henry Wako Muloki (RIP, Died in 2009). With its proximity to the
school main entrance, many have nicknamed it.............. Henry Muloki has
been known to be the house where students who would like to

Despite its distance from the classrooms, HM has been known to produce some of
the best academic students at KCB. (Is it because the distance makes many
students opt to stay in the classrooms until after the preps?)

4. Kyabazinga House: Named after the Busoga Local King's title, Kyabazinga,
this house has been known to produce very "mysterious"  sports men,
rappers and hip hop dancers. Back in the days, the Interhouse dancing
competitions  where always for Kyabazinga to brag about.

Adding to the mystery of Kyabazinga house, while at the top of the hill, the only evident thing in view is its roof. You could literally walk directly on top of its roof!
( Caution; Do not attempt to be Superman)

5. Mulondo House:

6. Nile House
Known to have produced many of the Head prefects in teh History of Butiki. (I wonder why? May be because it's the closest house to the Administration block
